An all-French program given by members of the Chatham Music Club and the winner of the CMC Scholarship Competition. I'll be doing a movement of the Poulenc Sonata with pianist, Maury Castro.
Presented by the Chatham Chorale, I will be in the orchestra for this one!
Each month the Chatham Music Club has it's "meeting", AKA House Concert for members and guests. I think I'll play a duet with Beth Taylor, on recorders, as well as something with classical guitarist Jim Skinger this go around. Please join us for the 11th Annual “Season of Lights” concert. Flamingo, Thai dancers, Japanese jazz, and more will start the Winter season off on a grand note. I will be performing with Thousand Waves, and perhaps a bit more here and there!
The concert is free, but we hope you’ll donate to help cover the expense associated with a program of this nature. And of course, we will have representatives from local charities like the Transitional School for homeless kids.
Dear Friends, Saturday November 18th Casa Della Zisa Presents: Thousand Waves' "West Meets East" Concert. The eclectic program will include Japanese koto music by Sawai as well as the music of Mozart, Pujol, Barrios, Ponce, and Roland Dyens. Special guest performer Shigemi Getter will join Yukiko Vossen in duo koto performance. I will be returning to Portland to perform some new works with koto and guitar.
